It’s finally time for Kenoshans to say, “Meet me at Hold My Beer!”

Hold My Beer, Kenosha’s much-anticipated axe-throwing and craft beer-pouring experience, is now taking axe lane reservations in preparation for a launch date of Thursday, June 15. Be one of the first to experience this unique, woman-owned establishment in the heart of downtown Kenosha, at 621 56th St.

Hold My Beer is the passion project of Meghan Mills and her fiancé, Luke Faulkner. The service-oriented couple set out to create a business that would bring people together and give back to the community. Read more about Hold My Beer’s background HERE

“Collaborating with other small businesses and fostering charitable partnerships is the heart of our mission,” Mills said. “We love Kenosha. We chose to build our business here so that we could have a positive impact on this city’s growth and reputation, and so we can serve our community and give back.”

Patrons of Hold My Beer will see the handy-work of Mills and Faulkner, as the couple worked hands-on throughout the entire build-out process. They even learned about some of each other’s unique talents.

“It has been so much fun working side-by-side with Luke to simultaneously build a business and plan our wedding,” Mills said. “We learn more about business and each other every day. We recently discovered, as we built the axe lanes and tap wall, that Luke has super spider-like climbing abilities.

“We are having an amazing time together creating a fun gathering place for the community. It is with tremendous joy that we are finally ready to welcome the community to Hold My Beer.”

This energetic and fun-loving couple are set to open the doors to Hold My Beer on June 15. The website reservation link is active, and axe-throwing lane reservations to accommodate your group are highly recommended. Visit holdmybeerkenosha.com now to make your lane reservations.

Upon arriving at the new establishment, patrons will receive a card that allows them to access the self-serve tap wall, if they choose. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options are available. The “Kick Axe” food menu includes charcuterie boards, soft pretzels and locally-sourced pizzas. A variety of complimentary games are available for social enjoyment, including cards, board games and shuffleboard. Axe-throwing is an additional fee.

Mills and Faulkner want to thank the numerous local businesses and community members that supported them and made this milestone achievement possible.

“We are overjoyed with the outpouring of support and excitement from our Hold My Beer social media followers, and we are keeping our promise to our fans to open as soon as possible,” Mills said. “We have been working extremely hard and are proud to be opening the doors early on June 15.

“Everything except the beer wall will be ready, and we are going to have so much fun finally interacting with our customers face-to-face.”

Additionally, mark your calendars for Saturday, July 8, at 10 a.m. for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at Hold My Beer with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce, followed by the 11 a.m. grand-opening celebration.

At the grand opening, patrons will have the opportunity to try over 50 different beverages on the self-pour tap wall. Visit holdmybeerkenosha.com for more information and to join the Hold My Beer e-newsletter.
