By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) is excited to host its annual Pet Walk Racine-Kenosha at Petrifying Springs Park on Saturday, August 2. Pet Walk is the largest family-friendly, outdoor festival and fundraiser to support the animals and families served by the WHS Racine and Kenosha Campuses!

WHS invites all animal lovers, as well as leashed and well-behaved pets to come to Pets Park for a morning of fun! The event kicks off with registration and activities at 8:30 a.m.; the walk through the park starts at 10:00 a.m. Enjoy the family friendly festival featuring music, vendors, an agility course, food, kids activities, and even a pet costume contest, all to benefit the animals and families served by WHS.
