Traveling from Kenosha to Barcelona, Spain will be both an educational and exciting soccer trip for 7th grade St. Joseph Academy student Finley Pitts. Pitts just recently began playing indoor soccer, but she has been chosen as one of twelve players nationwide to represent the United States team at the World Futsal Champions Cup Series.

While indoor soccer is relatively new to Pitts, much of her talent stems from many years with the local Red Star Soccer Club coached by Marco Fabiano.

As a club, one of our biggest goals is to have our players become comfortable with and experience a good relationship with the ball. Finley embodies that philosophy and I’m excited to see where her talent and love for the game takes her.

Daily workouts will be a combination of instruction and matches against other teams such a Brazil, Argentina, Russia and many other countries from around the world.

Matches will be on YouTube from December 27th through January 3rd.
