Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Ophelia!

A beautiful, 3-year-old girl who is looking for a loving family

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Ophelia is a stunning 3-year-old cat looking for a quiet, loving home. This calico beauty weighs 8 pounds and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. Ophelia can be quite shy and takes her time to settle in. She’d be most comfortable with children over 5. Like all cats at WHS, Ophelia has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, since she’s over a year old, you can name your own adoption fee. Please visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to meet Ophelia and see if she’s a fit for you.
