Virginia E. (Vargas) Delgado, 75, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Woods of Caledonia on Friday, September 6, 2024.
She was born on July 9, 1949, in Kenosha, WI, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Aurora (nee: Esquivel) Vargas, the 10th of twelve children.
On February 17, 1987, she was united in marriage to Carlos Delgado in Kenosha, WI. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2016.Virginia was a dedicated homemaker and had a passion for cooking, crocheting, and gardening. Her family will always remember her beautiful flowers. She cherished time spent
with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Wendy (Norberto) Neave of Kenosha, WI, Minerva (Delgado) Maciejczak of Hillsboro, WI and three stepchildren Carlos, Ramona and Edwin Delgado of Milwaukee, WI; 10 grandchildren, Jose, Carlos, Sophia, Jaime, Regina, Amanda, Junior, Rachel, Max and Elizabeth; and 14 great grandchildren, Landon, Lilyann, Elijah, Mariah, Aubrey, Santana, Julissa, Aliyana, Acelynn, Brooklynn, Kora, Sabrina, Janessa, Layne, Raelynn.
She is survived by a brother Robert Vargas; and two sisters; Jane and Linda Vargas; and a half sister Mary Cochren; countless nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend Hortencia.
Along with her parents, Virginia was also preceded in death by her daughters, Angela Dubin who passed away April 2004, Jenny Vargas who passed away September 2023 and a great granddaughter Julissa Vargas who passed away in March of 2019. Also, her brothers Sesario, Jose, Louie, and sisters Pauline Ruiz, Irene Zavala, Vicenta Vargas, Olga Montes de Oca, Margarita Avila.
Visitation for Virginia will be held on Friday, September 13th from 11:00 a.m to 1:00p.m at Bruch Funeral Home. Cristian burial will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery (47th Avenue and Washington Road) after the visitation.
