Stanislao Aceto, 95, of Kenosha WI, passed away on January 15, 2022, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie surrounded by his family. Stanislao was born in Cosenza, Italy on August 21, 1926, to Santo and Concetta Aceto. He was educated in Italy then joined the Italian Police Force in 1947, and later married Yolanda Binotto in Cosenza on September 29, 1953. Stan immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island on June 29, 1954. He was employed at American Brass for 35 years before retiring in 1989. In his retirement he continued to enjoy wine making, doing handy work, gardening, cooking, and having pasta on Sundays with his family.
Stan is survived by his 6 children; David (Lois) Aceto, Julie (Michael) Newsome, Richard Aceto, Suzanne (Christopher) Bruff, Timothy (Jennifer) Aceto, and JoAnne Aceto; his grandchildren Adam, Joshua, Vincent (Rachel), Nicholas, Gina, Elizabeth, Katie (Matthew), Max, and Callie; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Riley, and Anthony. Stan is also survived by 1 brother, Frank Aceto, who resides in Canada.
He is preceded in death by his wife Yolanda, his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
Stan’s family would like to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Willowbrook who gave him the best care a family could hope for. Our appreciation is beyond words and our gratitude is limitless.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 22, 2022, at 11:00AM at St. Mark Catholic Church. (7117-14th Avenue) There will be no visitation and those attending are asked to meet at the church prior to 11:00AM. Face masks are required. Entombment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
