Sarah Ann Beckius, 27 years old, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, WI, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her home.
She was born August 4, 1994, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Kovach). Sarah grew up in Kenosha, WI, where she graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
Sarah attended Missio Dei Fellowship, Kenosha, WI. She was expecting her first child, a daughter, Millianna. Sarah was very excited to become a mother, and she would have been the best mother ever. We will remember Sarah for her fearless spitfire and her enormous heart. Sarah had a love of animals, especially dogs, and her recent fur baby, Larry. Sarah worked as an intake specialist at Halo Homeless Shelter, Racine, WI. Sarah also graduated from the Salon Professional Academy of Kenosha in 2016 and worked as a nail technician. Sarah had a tremendous love for family and would always be there for them. She had a special bond with her little sister, Emily, that was undeniable. Sarah loved her big brother Travis and was looking forward to having Travis and Emily be Uncle and Aunt to her sweet Millianna. Sarah was also a talented softball player, enjoyed jet skiing, shopping and loved her nana’s homemade Italian food, but steak tacos were her favorite.
Survivors include her father, Joe Beckius of Kenosha, WI, and her mother Theresa (Doug) Newman of Kenosha, WI; her siblings, Travis (Anna) Beckius and Emily Beckius; her paternal grandparents, Virgil and Lana Beckius and maternal grandparents, Albert (the late Phyllis) Kovach.
Sarah also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and a very special friend Alexx Mann. Sarah and Alex would talk daily for hours.
Services and internment will be private in St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to Proko Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Halo Homeless Shelter, Racine, WI at https://haloinc.org/donate, in her memory.
