Sandra Lee “Sandy” Gilmore (Marzini), age 69, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 17, 2021, at her home in Kenosha, WI after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born to Clarence and Alice (DeMars) Marzini on October 3, 1951, in Crandon, WI.
Sandy graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1969, and attended courses at Gateway Technical College for marketing. Professionally, she was employed as a waitress at Nino’s Restaurant and worked as a cashier at Kmart and Parkside True Value.
On July 22, 1972, she married Daniel E. “Dan” Gilmore and they had four children.
She enjoyed spending time around the campfire telling stories and making people laugh. Most of all, she loved to play and run around with her five grandchildren.
Surviving Sandy is her husband, Dan Gilmore; four children, Christina Gilmore, Craig (Barbara) Gilmore, Kevin (Sara) Gilmore, and Karen Gilmore-Korsmo; five grandchildren, Cole, Ashley, Chase, Kadence, and Valerie; and two brothers, Clarence (Lorraine) Marzini, Jr. and Pete Marzini.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice Marzini.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 30th, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Facial coverings and social distancing are required to attend services.
