Robert F. Lindeman, 71, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with Rabbi Tzali by his side, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on May 3, 1950 to the late Henry and Ingeborg (Shirmer) Lindeman in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He received his degree in Philosophy and English at UW Madison. His love of philosophy led him to Jewish spirituality exemplified by Chabad. This changed his life.
Robert’s parents, were both the sole survivors of their families of the Nazi concentration camps, came to America through the sponsorship of the Jewish Community of Kenosha.
Robert was proud of the fact that they settled and lived their lives here in Kenosha.
Robert dedicated his life to taking care of his parents.
Robert enjoyed listening to jazz music, philosophy and competitive sports. He twice won the Kenosha Pool Championship and enjoyed playing cribbage with his friends. Robert lived his life in a dignified and gentlemanly manner. He loved to help others on a personal level and was dedicated to the community.
Robert wanted to thank Joe Lamothe, Drs. Ron and Jan Sanders and Rabbi Tzali and family for their love and friendship.
Graveside Services for Robert will be held on Friday, July 9th at 9:15 a.m. at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, with procession starting at the Bruch Funeral Home at 8:45 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated to Chabad of Kenosha.
Shiva will be held following the funeral service at Chabad of Kenosha 6522 – 87th Ave.
Commemorative Kiddush will be held this Shabbat following service at Chabad.
