Robert John “Bob” White, 77, formerly of Burlington and Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully at his Merrimac WI home on February 6th, 2021. He joins his loving wife Charleen who preceded him 4 weeks earlier on January 9, 2021.
Bob grew up and graduated from high school in Portage. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Following his discharge, he moved to Burlington to start his family. While in Burlington he was very involved with area groups including the Burlington Conservation Club. He enjoyed attending his kids school and sporting events. He worked at Snap-On Tools in Kenosha retiring after 30 years. Following his retirement, Bob moved to Merrimac, WI where he made many friends, became involved with the Merrimac Conservation Club, and enjoyed time with his wife Charleen. Many of Bob’s favorite things to do was to spend time with his family, watching the birds, hunting, fishing, camping, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, playing cards with family and friends, and cheering on his grandchildren in all their hobbies and activities.
He was the loving father of Lynn (Chris) Sohn, Robb (Amy) White, Rebecca (Mark) Stone, Michelle (Kevin) Samuelson, Jeff (Stacy) Werth and Jerry (Pam Bierbach) Werth. Proud grandfather to Daniel and Joshua Sohn, Ian and Kiah Venzon, Chetney, Matthew and Myles Stone, Grace White, Mikayla, Ella and Elaina Samuelson, Abigail, Carson and Tessa Werth, Austin, Stephanie, Hunter, Keegan and Chase Werth. Bob is further survived by his sister, Joyce (Peter) Renolt and a niece, Laura Lee (Kurt) Messner.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Charleen and his parents, Rev. Reginald C. White and Margery K. White.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
