Richard Louis Cundari JR., 56, from Kenosha, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Born in Kenosha on November 11th, 1966, he was the oldest son of four children born to the late Richard (Dick) and Rosemarie (Galbraith) Cundari. Rich attended and graduated from Tremper High School with the class of 1984. Following graduation, Rich worked at Shopko for a couple of years. Rich finished his career with A&R Door Service, employed for over 20 years as lead technician. He was a loved employee, known for his kindness towards others and his funny jokes. He loved playing cribbage, bags (cornhole) and watching those Dallas Cowboys, America’s team, he would say. He also loved Aquaman, Speed Racer, Neil Diamond, Bread (yes that is a band), and Obiwan Kenobi. The true love of his life though, was his adoring children. He was so proud of his kids, and would talk about them with such a big smile on his face. He loved them dearly.
“In memory of my dad, I would like to remember and cherish all those special moments we shared. Thank you for everything you taught me. I am very proud to have your name. It does not feel right without you. I will never forget everything you have done for my sisters and I. I loved restoring all of your Dad’s (Nanu’s) tools, as well as surprising you when you came home from work and Nanu’s snowblower was running again. Your amazing taste of music, which you would quiz me on. I have started getting really good at it, thank you Dad. Thank you for always knowing what to say when I was mad, and for teaching me to always do the right thing. There can not be a rainbow without rain. He was the rainbow to my rain.”
