Paul Joseph Dorfmeister, 70, of Kenosha, WI, passed away with his family by his side at Hospice Alliance after an almost three-year battle with cancer.
Born in Green Bay, WI on July 28, 1953, the son of John and Margery (Russell) Dorfmeister. Graduated from LaFollette High School in Madison, WI in 1971. Paul moved to Kenosha, WI in 1974 and married DeLaura Lynn Tolliver in 1975 and later divorced.
Paul was a member of the United Union of Roofers Local 11 for over forty years. During that time, he worked for Domain Roofing. He was an avid deer hunter and was an educator for the Trappers Association in WI. He loved to watch sporting events on T.V. especially the Packers, Brewers, and Blackhawks and went to the occasional Admirals Hockey game. He has always been a man of faith and when he moved to Colorado during retirement, he was on the commissioning board for Congregational United Church of Christ in Buena Vista. He dedicated his time to helped the church as a handyman doing yardwork, roofing, and windows. He will be mostly missed for his caring nature and love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Margery Dorfmeister; partner, Linda; children, Tonya (Raymond Young) Davis and Nicole (Jeremy) Lang; grandchildren, Brannon, Tyler, Westley, Abigail, Trevor, Riley, and Bradley; sister Peggy (Kendal) Coggins; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, John.
