Norma J. Quintana, 79, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on August 20, 1941 in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford.
On September 16, 1962 she married Flor Quintana in Waukegan. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2012.
Norma worked as a CNA for nursing homes for several years and also cleaned the Senior Center building for many years.
Norma was an amazing cook known for her Puerto Rican food, an avid reader, loved going to casinos and rummage sales and was known to be a thrifty woman. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Norma is survived by her son Jimmie Quintana, her daughter Patricia (John Barnhill) Rossi, her grandchildren Tabatha, Kayla, Kalibur, Joshua, her great grandchildren Omar, Pasqulena, Keylin, Emilianys, Karmella, Rosalia, Karielli and Liliani, her sister Gloria Sota, her sister-in-law Barbara Reed and her best friends Beverly McCormick and Gloria Craig.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Frank and her brothers and one sister.
A Celebration of Life for Norma will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
