Nancy, 85 YEARS IN AGE, RESIDENT OF Wauconda, IL, formerly from Kenosha, WI was surrounded by her beloved family, at home, as she peacefully entered into everlasting life on August 26.
Born on August 13, 1936 in Howard Grove, WI she was the daughter of the late Lester Kramer and Frances (Ritchardt) Kramer. As a young teen Nancy and her family moved to Kenosha. She was a Wisconsin girl through and through. She spent most of her life in Kenosha until 2009 when she moved to Wauconda, IL.
On July 29, 1953, she married the love of her life, Martin Servantez in Crown Point, Indiana. Nancy began a lifetime journey of raising her three daughters, teaching them by example to be loving, hardworking and to serve those in need. Nancy was a proud and devoted Christian.
Nancy had strong work ethics and loved to work. She couldn’t sit still in her retirement years and worked at Valeo’s Pizza until she was 81 years old.
She was a talented crocheter and an amazing baker. She made the best pies and the flakiest pie crust.
Nancy had a heart of gold, she was generous, hardworking and loyal friend.
She is survived by her daughters Joyce Gallagher (Gary), Jean Manasan (Angelo), Judith Zanow (Rick) as well as grandsons Anthony, Michael (Melody), Zachary (Ashley), granddaughters Ashley and Malissa, great-grandsons Maxx, Trace and Mason, great-granddaughters Melly and Maddie and two more on the way.
She is survived by siblings David Kramer (Jackie), Susan Medina (late Maximino) and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Marcy and Patricia.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kristine Murphy and nurse Lisa Rodriguez for their compassionate care for Nancy and family.
A private memorial service will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
