Nancy Faye Stehlik, 94, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at The Bay at Water’s Edge.
Born in Kenosha, on July 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lewis A. and Edna R. (Sauve) Berkley. A lifelong resident, she was educated in local schools.
She was formerly married Richard R. Holm and later divorced. On November 15, 1980, she married Eugene F. “Geno” Stehlik. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1998.
Nancy was employed by Kenosha County as a secretary for 20 years and retired on July 11, 1991. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Moose Lodge 155. She volunteered for the Retired Senior Volunteers Program and was an avid square dancer.
Survivors include her son, Brian (Ula) Holm; six grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; one great-greatgrandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Henning; and a son in infancy, David Holm.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 27th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. concluding with a Women of the Moose service. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 28th, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2224 30th Ave, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Facial coverings are required for those attending.
