Nancy Housner, 85 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Follett) Barribeau. On July 6, 1957, she married John Housner at St. Peter Catholic Church in Oconto, WI. They were married for 62 years until he passed away on October 18, 2019.
Nancy was a member of St. George Catholic Church before it merged into St. Elizabeth. Nancy and John owned and operated H&H Petticoat Junction which was a square dance apparel shop which coincided with their love of square dancing. She was great at sewing, crocheting and needle work. Her favorite times would be camping and having a house full of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Deanna (Dennis) Stich, Jackie (Mike) Zirbel, Cindy Persson, and Heidi (Troy) Judeika; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, John Housner and her son in law David O. Persson.

Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery.
