Michael (Mike) Wamboldt, 65, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday February 11, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born on March 3, 1955 in Kenosha, the son of the late Albert & Gertrude (Spitzer) Wamboldt. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Michael married the love of his life, Pamela (Pam) Maritato, on August 2, 1982 in Kenosha. He was employed as a facilities engineer at Ameritech/Johnson Controls for many years.
Mike was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Known for his quick wit, wicked sense of humor, and cheeky Facebook posts, Mike brought laughter and joy to all of the lives he touched. When he wasn’t spending time with his family and friends, you could find him working on his vintage car, attending car shows, watching drag racing, or grabbing a burger from Big Star.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Wamboldt of Kenosha; children, Justin (Jess Erickson) Wamboldt of Kenosha, Jennifer (Nathan) Lawler of Kenosha; brothers, Bill (Cathy) Wamboldt of Kenosha, Jerry (Laura) Wamboldt of Oconto Falls; sister, Chris (Ron) Dahl of Paddock Lake; grandchildren, Riley Wamboldt, Ella, Bailey, Nathan Jr., and Miles Lawler. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James.
Services were private and a celebration of life will be held this summer.
