Mark B. Bolton, age 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born in Racine, WI on January 15, 1962, he was the son of Burton and Barbara (Ling) Bolton.  He was a graduate of Salem Central/Westosha High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout.

Mark was employed as a service draft tech for Atlas Copco.

He was a member of Kenosha Bible Church.

Mark drove to Kansas to capture that perfect spot of the eclipse.  He was a Hurricane Harvey survivor which transferred him out by boat and lost everything.  Mark traveled to Ireland, loved knowledge, technology, and movies.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bolton; his siblings, Dan Bolton and Amy (Dave) Buckallew; his nieces, Carri and Peyton Stillwel; his dedicated close friends, Dave (Nancy) Hebior and many family and special friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Burton Bolton and his sister, Rebecca Bolton.


Memorial services and interment honoring Mark’s life will be held at a later date in Suring WI.
