Maricris Tadifa Obedencio Somerville, age 40, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away in the comfort of her home with her loving husband by her side on Friday, December 9, 2022. Daughter of Emilio and Rosalinda (Tadifa) Obedencio, Maricris was born on November 4, 1982, in the Philippines. On March 18, 2019, Maricris was united in marriage with Jason Somerville at the Town Hall in Pleasant Prairie, WI. In her free time, Maricris loved to sing karaoke. She had a strong relationship with God and found peace and comfort in her faith. She always put others before herself and she never complained about any of life’s challenges. She could light up a room with her presence, was the life of any party, and was well-loved by all who knew her. Maricris loved her three children dearly.
Maricris is survived by her devoted husband, Jason; her children, Danmar Javier, Jordan Willing, and Jannah Willing; her sister, Gemma; her mother, Rosalinda; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Emilio.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 11:00AM until 1:00PM on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI. A funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Tom Aubrey at 1:00PM following the visitation. Interment will take place at Mound Prairie Cemetery.
