Marian L. Barclay passed away January 22, 2022. She was born April 20, 1944, in Glenview, IL, to William D. and Eleanor, née Kremer, Barclay.
She is survived by her brother, William D. Barclay, Jr., in Chicago. Marian worked at several libraries in the Libertyville, IL, area during her career. She was an avid reader, but just reading a book did not satisfy her; she often did extensive research on the author and facts contained in the book. She loved cats and had at least one for most of her adult life. Her other interests included sketching artwork, gardening, and listening to country music, especially Don Williams. Marian had a long-time desire to live in Wisconsin and moved to Kenosha several years ago.
Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL, in the Kremer family plot with a private graveside service.
