Linda Coulter, 79, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, at Brookside Care Center after a long illness.
Linda was born on September 2, 1945, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Edmund and Louise (Reuter) Holland. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Linda was a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Her hobbies included watching TV, doing crossword puzzles, going to casinos, playing cards, and she was a huge NASCAR (especially Dale Jr. & Alex Bowman) fan.
Most of all, though, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Lin relished her role as Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She truly enjoyed the birthdays, holidays, weddings, graduations, and other milestone family events – rarely missing any of them. Over the course of her life, she enjoyed treating her nieces/nephews to bowling outings, movies, trips, and countless highly competitive and entertaining card games.
Survivors include her brothers, John (Carol) Holland of AZ, Paul (Marilyn) Holland of MO; 6 nieces; 3 nephews; 6 great-nieces, and 14 great-nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Jane Arbet, her nephew and godson, Sean Holland, and a brother in infancy, Charles.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance for treating Linda like family and for taking such wonderful care of her.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Monday October 28, 2024, from 11:00AM-12:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 12:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of Linda’s favorite charities – The Dale Jr. Foundation https://www.thedalejrfoundation.org) or St. Therese Church in Kenosha (https://st-therese-kenosha.org).
