Linda Baumann 76, of Kenosha passed away on July 3, 2024, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on June 27, 1948, in Burlington, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Roepke)Charlton. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from the Racine and Kenosha County Teachers College. Linda married Paul Baumann on December 20, 1969, in Kenosha. She was employed at the First National Bank of Kenosha, which became Bank One, which became Chase. She retired from Chase as a Branch Manager after 43 years with the bank. Over the years she served as an officer of the Business and Professional Women’s Assn. and as a Trustee of the Gateway Technical Institute. Her hobbies included card making and being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for over 20 years. She also liked reading, cooking, and traveling but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Baumann of Kenosha; mother, Ruth Hasbrouck of Mt. Pleasant and her sister, Sandra (Steve) Dankert of Sturtevant. Linda was preceded in death by her father.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday July 22, 2024 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 11:00AM-1:30PM, with memorial services to follow at 1:30PM.
