Leo Jacob Gillis, 27, of Pleasant Prairie passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
He was born on June 13, 1995 to Leo J. and Krisanne (Sanders) Gillis in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Burlington and graduated from Monroe High School.
Leo worked with his father in construction and remodeling.
Leo was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughter Addalynn “Boo Boo”.
Leo is survived by his parents Leo and Krisanne Gillis, his daughter Addalynn “Boo Boo”, his siblings Nycol, Nicholas “Nick” and Jared, his grandparents Jeralyn and Rueben Sanchez, Leo Ray Gillis and William Sanders and his great grandfather Jerald Hanson.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Marlene Sanders, great grandmother Betty Hanson, two uncles Darrell Gillis and Jeremiah Sanders, cousin Charles Sanders and his two friends Callie Smith and Brandon Brewer.
A Celebration of Life for Leo will be held on Sunday, January 29th at 4:00 p.m. at Apostolic Faith Church (1021 – 95th Street Pleasant Prairie). Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
