Kathleen Mary Kowal, age 59, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, passed away on December 1st, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born on September 9th, 1963, to the late Richard Gleason, and Arlene Griffin. She worked as a operations coordinator at the Kenosha Job Center until her time of death. She loved playing pool, bags, softball, golfing, and was an active member of the moose lodge in Kenosha.
She is survived by two daughters: Stephanie Poyner and Melissa Kowal, grandchildren: Sean Poyner, Brantley Hecht, Kaitlyn Poyner, Scarlet Jelinek, brothers: David Gleason and Richard Gleason and countless other family members and beloved friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Karen Brown and Sandra Gleason.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank all their friends and relatives for their support during this time.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 at 10:00am at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church (4816 7th, Ave.) with a visitation with the family on Monday, December 12th, 2022 at the Kemper Center of Kenosha Founders Hall (6501 3rd, Ave.) from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Burial at Saint George Cemetery will follow Mass on Tuesday.
