Karen A. (Sniatynski) Jacobs, age 64, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 28, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Born on October 6, 1959 to the late Donald and Mary Jane (Jones) Sniatynski. She attended local schools, graduated from Tremper High School and UW Parkside with a Business degree.
On November 8, 1986 in Kenosha, WI she married William Jacobs.
She was employed with First Bank Southeast for 10 years, Armitage Academy for 22 years and SEDOL (Special Education District of Lake County) for 10 years.
Karen made each day an adventure! She played the viola with Tremper High School Orchestra and the Golden Strings. Karen enjoyed traveling to many different locations but most of all she loved her grandson Carter and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her loving husband, William; her daughter, Kelly Jacobs; her grandson, Carter Newman; her sister, Susan Pagliaroni; her brother, Greg Sniatynski; her three nephews, five nieces, six great-nephews, four great nieces, five sisters-in-law, one brother-in law and many loving friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Jane Sniatynski.
Private memorial services honoring Karen’s life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street, Union Grove, WI.
