Josephine Genevieve Kolner (Barankiewicz), age 89, of Kenosha, passed away on October 26th, 2022, at Home Inspired Senior Living. She was born on June 25th, 1933, in Chicago, IL, to the late Walter and Lillian (Wojtaszek) Barankiewicz. On July 3rd, 1954, she married the late Daniel Frederick Kolner in Fox Lake, IL. She lived in Chicago from the time she was born until 1959 where she moved to Fox Lake and lived there until 2016, afterwards she remained in Kenosha until the time of her death. She worked at Highland Park Hospital as a Registered Nurse from where she retired from in 1998. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Stephen (Patsy) Kolner, Sandra (Frank) LaSpina, and Daniel (Patricia) Kolner, grandchildren: Matthew LaSpina, and Mark LaSpina, and great-grandchildren: Evie, CeCe, and Anthony. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother: Walter Barankiewicz.
