Helen Gonzales, 63, of Kenosha passed away on January 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was born on June 11, 1960, in Kenosha, the daughter of Domingo and Paula (Villalobos) Uribe. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Helen was employed at Froedtert South Hospital as environmental services lead for 29 years. Her hobbies included working, playing pool, cheering for the Chicago Bears, gardening/tending to her plants and going to family reunions but most of all she loved spending time with her friends, family and especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Tomas (Brooke) Gonzales III of FL, Angelo (Heather) Gonzales of Kenosha, Joseph (Desirae) Gonzales of Kenosha; mother, Paula Uribe of Kenosha; brothers, Domingo Uribe of Kenosha, Danny (Tom) Hood of MA; sisters, Esther Salinas of Kenosha, Lupe (Royce) Ihm of WI; also included are her 10 grandchildren, Tomas IV, Guadalupe, Thalia, Savanah, Manuel, Alianna, Zander, Priscilla, Isaac, & Rylee; 2 great-grandchildren, Avriana & Bronson; Helen is also survived by and loved by many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her father.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Wednesday January 17, 2024, from 5:00PM-8:00PM with funeral services to follow on Thursday January 18, 2024, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (7117-14th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53143) starting at 11:00AM.
