Helen D Trabert, age 87, was born in McDonald, Tennessee on December 23, 1933, and passed on June 8, 2021. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Edwin H. Borchers, and T. Vernon Trabert; most loving mother of Beverly (Daniel) Berkman, Bart (Nancy) Borchers, Bruce (Emi) Borchers, and Beth Leberecht. Helen was the daughter of the late Willard and Marie Sims and sister of the late Jack Sims. Stepmother to Laura(Robert) Herzog and Louis Trabert. Helen had surviving grandchildren, which she often referred to as her life’s greatest treasures: David (Cindy) Borchers, Brian Borchers, Craig (Jennifer) Borchers, Nichole Pericat, Ali (Joel) Borchers, Jason Berkman, Shannon (Dustin) Hill, Nicolet (Jason) Macikanycz, and Kelli Leberecht and Great grand-children: Jacob Anderson, Caleb and Jack Borchers, and Austin and Audrey Macikanycz. She was a loving step grandmother to Kevin, Adam Trabert, Katherine, Madalin Herzog.
Helen was an accomplished pianist from age 5, church organist for over 30 years, and choir director. She instilled music into her family and radiated her music, love, and kindness wherever she went. Helen became a Christian at an early age, and she is at home with her family, friends, and Jesus.
