Evelyn R. Clancy age 91 of Twin Lakes, WI died September 12, 2024. She was born on July 14, 1933. The daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Rawcliffe) McMahon. On June 16, 1956, in Detroit, MI she was united in marriage to James F. Clancy III who preceded her in death on Sept 8, 2000. She attended Drake University on a scholarship and was on the swim team. She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and graduated with a degree in Music. She taught music in Des Plaines elementary schools for 20 years. After retiring and moving to Twin Lakes full time she worked at the tourist information center in Lake Geneva, was a substitute teacher for Twin Lakes school district and gave piano lessons.
Survived by her son James (Julie) Clancy IV. Grandmother to Jay, Patrick and Jack. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Clancy.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 20, 2024, at 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until the time of services.
