Elizabeth Jaffe, 70, of Burlington passed away on Thursday June 15, 2023 at the Hospice Alliance-Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie with her daughter by her side.
Elizabeth was born on February 4, 1953 in Chicago to Sanford & Patricia (Hoeger) Jaffe. She grew up in Chicago and later Miami, FL, where she attended school, and obtained her nursing degree at Jackson Memorial Hospital Nursing School in FL. Elizabeth was employed as a nurse for many years throughout the country, and retired as a Hospice Nurse in Bend, OR. Her hobbies included traveling with her daughter, cheering for the San Francisco Giants & New York Yankees, but most of all spending time with her family & friends, especially her beloved dogs.
Survivors include her daughter, Marissa (William Cabrera) Ditunno of Burlington; mother, Patricia Kipnis of FL; sisters, Suzi Jaffe of FL, and Joni (Michael) Binkov of FL. She was preceded in death by her father.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
