Elia Trejo, 74, of Kenosha passed away on March 20, 2023, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.
Elia was born on December 12, 1948, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, the daughter of the late Ignacia Gonzalez. She was educated in the schools of Mexico. Elia was a co-pastor for many years. She was a member of Temple La Hermosa. Her hobbies included singing, going to yard sales, cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Juan Trejo of Kenosha; children, Janie (Francisco) Flores of Miami, FL, Gumer Trejo of San Antonio, TX, Daniel (Gina) Trejo of Tampa, FL, Josue (Isabel) Trejo of Kenosha, Neftali (Leigh Ann) Trejo of Houston, TX; brother, Alejandro Gonzalez of Mexico; also included are her 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Elia was preceded in death by her mother and sisters.
A visitation will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Wednesday March 29, 2023 from 5:00PM-7:00PM, and again on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 9:00AM-10:00AM, with funeral services to follow at 10:00AM. Burial St. George Cemetery.
