Edith Clay, 81, of Kenosha passed away on February 11, 2024, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
Edith was born on May 27, 1942, in Gross-Marchwitz, Germany, the daughter of the late Paul & Anna (Schoenfeld) Kinast. She was educated in the schools of East Germany. Edith married Donald Haubrich on August 5, 1998, in Kenosha. She was a custodian for many years. Her hobbies included crocheting, watching old western shows, cheering for the San Francisco 49ers but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family especially with her grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Haubrich of Kenosha; grandson, Michael (Kayla) McDaniel of Windsor, CO; daughter-in-law, Bea McDaniel of CO; also included is a great-grand-daughter, MiKayla that is on the way. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael and her siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
