Diane was born on June 26, 1939 to Marion (Jaster) and Andrew Owsichek. She was raised in Kenosha alongside her two brothers, Kenny and Jim. She was a loving wife to her husband, William, of 58 years as well as a proud mother to Karen (Jonathan Fox) and John (Jennifer Goergen) an amazing and devoted grandmother to her four granddaughters – Torrie, McKenna, Madeline and Gianna and of course to her granddog, “Ruby.”
A life long resident of Kenosha, Diane graduated from Bradford High School in 1958. Following graduation she became a secretary for Kenosha Area Transport. She met her “Bill,” aka “Barn,” at Racine’s Danish Beer Garden. They were married in Kenosha on August 11, 1962. Affectionately knows as “Dede” to all who knew and loved her, she poured her heart into raising and taking care of her family. Nothing made her happier than having everyone together to share a delicious meal she had spent the day preparing. Diane had the biggest smile and an infectious laugh along with a selfless and loving spirit that will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband, William, parents, Marion and Andrew, and her brother Jim.
Burial and memorial services will be held at All Saints Memorial Chapel in Kenosha on December 20 at 11:00 am. A celebration of life will follow at Kemper Center.
