Dennis E. Bode, age 68, died Saturday morning, February 27,2021, in Kenosha, Wi. Dennis was a native of Kenosha, and then moved to West Bend, Wi. He lived there for about 37 years, and then moved back to Kenosha after he retired from Big Rivers. He graduated from Tremper High School.
Dennis was a musician, and played as a drummer with a lot of different bands. He was a great painter, working with oils and color pastels. He made them for his family, and sold some he made. Dennis was a true Leo, and a kind loving person. He always helped others out. He loved to cook and bake, and one of his favorite recipes was making raspberry jalapeno jelly, and cranberry pumpkin quick breads, etc.
Dennis was married to Jacqueline Petri.
Dennis is survived by two daughters, Robbie Bode Parrent (Matt), Raquel Bode, and significant other Joey Patron.
Dennis has two grandchildren, Landon and Blake Parrent.
Four nieces; Jacqueline Henricksen Martinez, Judy Alcalay, Nicole Alcalay, and Elizabeth Alcalay.
Five nephews; Frankie Jones, Caelon, Makaya, Brandel Gordon, and Collin Alcalay,
Great Nephews; Noah, Liam Henricksen, and J.C. Hargrove.
Four great nieces; Maliyah, Kendy, Brooklyn, and Hargrove.
Dennis is survived by a brother Jeffery Bode of Sparta, N.C., and sister Carolyn Bode Davis of Kenosha, Wi.
He was preceded in death by Eugene and Irene Bode (Madison), three aunts; Ann Olson, Rosella Robleski, Margret Artus, and one brother Elmer J. of Madison.
