Deborah L. Gross, 67 , of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Deborah was born on August 30, 1954, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late George Henry Michael & Lillian (Leglar) Lichtwalt. Debby has always been touched by angels. At the age of 3, she was diagnosed with aplastic anemia and battled it for 7 years when she miraculously recovered overnight. She was educated in both parochial and public schools of Kenosha. Debby married Randy Gross on September 1, 1979, in Kenosha . She was Employed for many years as a Special Ed Assistant at KUSD where she lovingly touched the lives of countless children. Debby lived her life as a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. A woman that feared the Lord Deborah was a member at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
Debby spent her young life listening to Led Zeppelin her favorite rock , and her later life loving Johnny Cash as he was her favorite musician. Our communities Thursday night Peanut Butter Jam was a summer favorite event. Her hobbies were crocheting with her church friends, crafts , senior center, Hallmark Channel, reading and, she was an exceptional artist, a talent handed down by her dad. Debby enjoyed cooking and eating, always hosting delicious holiday meals … and Sunday dinners for her mother. When her daughter was a little girl, she would make her outfits handmade with her sewing machine for both Amanda and her dolls! Debby‘s home is filled with countless memories and collections of her life. Debby loved her dolls, cabbage patch , American girl dolls you name it. Most of all Debby enjoyed spending time with her Family and friends and especially her grandchildren whom she is so very proud of.
Deborah’s Survivors are her (husband) Randy Gross of Kenosha; her children Amanda (Christopher Bednar) Gross, Michael Gross both of Kenosha; brothers, Duane and Jeff Lichtwalt of Kenosha; grandchildren, Cedric (Jennifer) Earl, Alyssa Zoromskis, Makenna Perez-Gross, Christian Zoromskis, Brian Zoromskis, Ayden Zoromskis, Arianna Gross, Kayden DeMoulin, Dominic Gross, and Ms.Lillian Gross. Great Grandchildren, Kailani, Jediah, Luna and Ezra.
She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Deborah’s soul is now free and joined with her beloved parents Mike & Lillian. She will sorely missed by all who knew and loved her as her personality was like no other.
A celebration of life will be held April 29th, 2022, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church at 1 PM.
