Deacon Collier Henry Bryant, Jr., affectionately called “June,” completed his earthly journey and peacefully entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Collier was born in Birmingham, AL on September 18, 1941, to the late Birdie Mae Hancock & Collier Henry Bryant, Sr.
He spent his early years of education in Birmingham, and later attended high school in North Chicago, IL. He served in the Army as PFC from June 23, 1964, through June 18, 1966. He was a Medical Specialist and received a Medical Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and a Military Award.
After serving his country, he worked at American Motors for many years,
then Snap-On Tools, both in Kenosha, WI. He retired to Green Bay, WI in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, two sisters, and
one son.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, two sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends and one best friend.
He enjoyed sports, Kangol hats, sharp dressing, a collector of walking canes of all colors, and keeping his vehicles cleaned and waxed. He had the ability to make everyone laugh. June loved his family and loved to attend family gatherings.
He drove down from Green Bay to Kenosha on the first Saturday of the month for
years to eat breakfast with his family and friends at the Spring Brook Restaurant
to have his regular “toast and eggs.” This was a long ride just to have toast and eggs but that is what he loved…just to see how ugly everyone had gotten.
