David G. Perez, 64 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha, WI.
He was born April 6, 1957, in San Antonio, TX, the son of the late Alvino and Emma (Gomez) Perez.
On September 30, 1977, he married Caroline Medina in Kenosha, WI. David was a talented musician and chef; he had a big heart and was always smiling. His family was especially important to him, and he cherished the time they spent together. David was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed deer hunting. David worked as a mechanic for Paul Swartz Nursery in Silver Lake, WI for the past 48 years.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Caroline; three children, Lisa Perez, Linda (Robert Ford) Perez, and David Perez Jr.; siblings, Ana Hernandez, Sylvia (Romeo) Olivares, Alvino (Sally) Perez Jr., Johnny (Jeannie) Perez, and Alicia (Eleodoro) Pacheco; in-laws, Josefina Perez, Guadalupe Torres, Jr., and Jesse Gomez; two grandsons, Ryan and Bryan Ford; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by siblings, Jesus “Boy” Perez, Sr., Lidia Torres and Sulema Gomez.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street, Kenosha, WI and from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 with services commencing at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI .
