Dale Allen Hauck, 61, of Kenosha, passed away on January 15, 2024 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, after experiencing a cardiac event. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born on December 15, 1962 to Dale and Linda (Swanson) Hauck in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1981.
Dale married his high school sweetheart, Kimberly Petrick, in 1981 and went on to have three children, Natasha, Joshua, and Lyndsey. Their son, Joshua, passed away in utero shortly before birth. Dale and Kim divorced in 2006 but remained good friends.
Dale was a hardworking man and a jack of all trades. He spent approximately 20 years employed as a shift supervisor at Kenosha Beef International. He went on to start a gutter business with his childhood best friend, Frank. Most recently, he was employed as a janitor at Woodview Elementary School. He was loved by staff and students alike and gained many nicknames from the students such as, “Mr. Pickles,” “Hulk,” and “Mr. Chippy.”
Dale loved Chicago sports teams and believed that Sundays were meant for football! In his younger years, he enjoyed playing volleyball, baseball, softball, golf, and bowling. He also loved to coach. He started off coaching PeeWee football and then went on to coach his grandson, Alex, throughout his Little League years. This past summer, Dale and Alex were able to coach a Little League team together.
Dale was a man who lived by his own rules and had a sarcastic remark for almost anything. He enjoyed riding his red moped, listening to music, home projects, yard work, and pizza on Friday nights.
Dale would want his family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate his life, rather than mourn his loss.
Dale is survived by his two daughters, Natasha and Lyndsey Hauck; his grandson, Alexander Dale Moyao; his parents, Dale and Linda Hauck; and his two brothers, Scott and Brandon Hauck.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Dale Hauck.
A Celebration of life for Dale will be held on Friday, January 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. The family asks for everyone to dress casually. In lieu of flowers, donations to Woodview School (340 N Alleghany Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030) would be appreciated.
