Charmaine M. Sullivan, 92, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Brookside Care

Center, Kenosha.

She was born in Kenosha on August 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Walter and Jane (Newhouse)

Bezotte. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She had two younger siblings; Ronald Bezotte

and Rochelle (Hervat) Whippo.

On February 12, 1949 she married the “love of her life”, Thomas Sullivan. They raised two children,

Katherine Kovacs and Gary Sullivan. She has five granddaughters, Laura (Jason) Dabbs-Melichar,

Kimberly (Mark) Jankowski, Heather (Andrew) Hebior, Jennifer (Kendal) Kreibich and Melissa (Ryan)

Laughlin. Charmaine has 8 great grandchildren, Sydney and Tyler Dabbs, Megan and Zachary Jankowski,

Abbey and Hunter Kreibich, and Connor and Molly Laughlin.

Charmaine was preceded in death by her husband, siblings, a son-in-law, William Kovacs and daughter-

in-law, Toni (Monroe) Sullivan.

In her younger years she worked at Jockey International, and after raising her children she went back to

work with her husband at McHenry Sand & Gravel and Meyer Materials. They developed Ponderosa

Sand & Gravel Pit in Kenosha, which later became Lake Andrea. She loved gardening and tending to her

yard, their dogs, and traveling to Door County and Florida in their RV.

The family will have a private celebration of life for Charmaine.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her doctors, Brookside Care Center, Hospice

Alliance, and Casey Family Options Funerals & Cremations.
