Cecelia “CeCe” L. McMath, 62 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at her home with her family at her side.
She was born May 30, 1958, in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Emil and Dolores (Estrada) Simmons. On May 28, 1983, she married William McMath.
CeCe adored her grandchildren, she loved talking and meeting new people. Gambling at the casino and shopping were among her favorite hobbies.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bill; her children, Shavonne Simmons, William McMath Jr., Tamara McMath, and Orlando McMath; her siblings, Lyniece Simmons, Dolores Childs, Glen Simmons, Marlon (Towanda) Simmons, Irene Smith, Cynthia (Beydon) Bailey, Brigid (Jonathan) English, and Regina (Eddie) Blakney; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, CeCe was preceded in death by her son, Lavonte, four children in infancy; and brothers Emil Simmons Jr. and Gregory Simmons.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Proko Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, 7307 40th Avenue, Kenosha. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, Kenosha, WI.
