Carol J. Pawlaczyk, 78 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her home.
Born in Kenosha, WI, November 10, 1944 to the late Emil and Emily (Schmidt) Koslica. Carol attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School. In 1971 she married Richard Pawlaczyk, Sr, who preceded her in death October 4, 1990.
Carol’s love for her family knew no bounds and her love was truly unconditional. Her passing has left a hole in our family that cannot be filed. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, teaching them to gamble at Nana’s Cabin and Casino, making sure to make each’s favorite meal on their birthday. Her son Rich would kidnap her and go on surprise adventures to Graceland, Nashville, Green Bay, her favorite was staying at Loretta Lynn’s ranch. She and her daughter Tammy loved watching cooking and baking shows, her favorite being Chopped. She also loved to read and create diamond paintings. But no matter what she was always there when anyone needed anything.
Survivors include her two children, Richard Pawlaczyk, Jr and Tammy Flores (Roger); grandchildren, Brandon Flores, Richard Pawlaczyk III (Nicole Alfano), Faith DeVilbiss (Robert), Gracelyn Pawlaczyk (Jayden Walters); great-granddaughters, Mila Garcia and Gabriella Pawlaczyk; brothers Emil Koslica (Sally), and Randy Miller (the late Debbie); loving daughters-in-law, Christina Ptak and Cristina Jones; and close family friend, Lisa Pegoraro.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Smith.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023, at Luigi’s Restaurant, 7531 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to Proko Funeral Home.
