Carl P. Mueller, 72, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
He was born on October 26, 1949 to the late Carl P. and Marjorie A. (Thompson) Mueller in Chicago, IL.
He entered the US Army on October 27, 1967, and was honorably discharged on October 26, 1973. Carl served during the Vietnam war in the 173rd Airborne, where he received a Purple Heart.
On March 30, 2001 he married Laurie Martin at Grace Lutheran Church.
Carl worked as a union carpenter for many years. He was part of the Chicago Regional Council of the Carpenter’s Union.
Carl enjoyed playing horseshoes, gardening and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Carl is survived by his wife Laurie, his children James F. (Vanessa) Mueller, Angela (Craig) Cook, Danielle Blaisdell and Courtney (Sam) Jacob, his nine grandchildren and his siblings Geri (Mike) Diciolla, Terry Mueller and Jim Mueller.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 3:00 p.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
