Barbara A Tietz age 68 of Twin Lakes, WI died December 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Evergreen Park, IL on September 5, 1956. The daughter of the late Gilford and Mildred (Spiering) Nietz. On August 30, 1986, in Kenosha, WI she was united in marriage to Glenn A Tietz. She worked for many years at Abbot Laboratories as a Medical Info Specialist.
Barb was a past member of the Twin Lakes Vol. Fire Dept and Rescue Squad where she was an EMT. She served the village of Twin Lakes as a Village Trustee and was on the Police Commission. Barb also served on the Wilmot High School Board. She loved classic cars, especially a 69’ Chevy Camero. Her greatest happiness came from doing anything and everything for her children and her dogs.
Survived by her husband Glenn Tietz Sr. Mother of Glenn Tietz Jr, Katie Tietz and Kevin (Samantha) Tietz. Grandma to Lillian Tietz.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10, 2025, from 4:00pm until 7pm at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI.
