Alice Jane Moser, 88, of McHenry, IL passed away peacefully Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
She was born on October 29, 1932 to the late James M. and Marie A. (Laskat) Fridrich in Chicago, IL, and was one of ten children.
In 1953, she married her sweetheart Raymond Moser, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2005.
Alice was the Recreation Director for Berwyn Recreation Department for many years and was instrumental in starting the Berwyn Youth Soccer Program.
Alice was a lifelong die-hard Cubs fan, enjoyed coaching softball and soccer, and was an amazing baker. A proud Bohemian, she loved sharing her Czech heritage with her grandkids. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Alice is survived by her daughter-in-law Ellen Moser, her grandchildren Zachary and Gwendolyn, and her grand dogs Indie and Tessa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Warren and Frederick.
A Celebration of Life for Alice will be held at a later date.
