Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Athena!

An adorable, 5-year-old girl who is looking for her forever home

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Gorgeous Athena is a 5 ½-year-old kitty looking for her new home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This black & white beauty weighs 12 pounds and has the most glamorous long white whiskers. Like all cats at WHS, Athena has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped – plus, because she’s over a year old, you can name your own adoption fee! If you’re interested in meeting Athena, please visit www.wihumane.org/adopt today!
