’s Pet of the Week: George!

A sweet, 2-year-old boy who is looking for his forever home

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

George is a happy and shy 2-year-old dog looking for his new home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This dashing boy weighs 63 pounds, and he would appreciate a family that can take things at a slower pace while he gets acclimated. Like all dogs at WHS, George has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Please visit to learn more about George and all the other adoptable animals.
