A beautiful, 1-year-old boy who is ready to be your new best friend

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Maverick is a gorgeous 1 ½-year-old pup looking for his new home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This stunning boy weighs 58 pounds, has a super soft coat, and captivating eyes – one brown and one crystal blue. Maverick is a friendly dog and enjoys being around people but prefers to be introduced to other pets slowly. Like all dogs at WHS, he’s been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
