Kenosha, WI – The Hope Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Inc. is pleased to announce the highly anticipated return of Loved One’s Group. Loved Ones is a free, confidential, weekly support group for people who have a family member, friend, or loved one struggling with alcohol or other substances.

“The Loved One’s Group has been recognized as a cornerstone in the community,” said Michelle Sandberg, executive director of the Hope Council. “Led by experienced facilitators, Loved Ones offers a nurturing environment where people dealing with the challenges of addiction within their families can share their stories, learn from one another, and find solace in the shared journey.”

The Loved One’s Group meets Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM at the Hope Council office located at 6103-39th Ave. No registration is necessary and there is no fee to participate.

“People often find themselves feeling isolated and overwhelmed, especially during the holidays; we want them to know that we care, we’re here for them, and they are not alone,” said Sandberg. “I strongly encourage anyone who has been affected by a loved one’s addiction to take advantage of this great resource.”
