Five-month-old adjusting to being a house kitty

By SAFE HARBOR HUMANE SOCIETY

Safe Harbor Humane Society is an open admission shelter and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves the Kenosha County area. Safe Harbor takes in over 3,300 animals each year and places the majority of these animals into good homes.

Salt is a 5-month-old neutered male kitten. He came to us as a feral kitten, but is coming around to being a house kitty rather easily.

He still gets nervous if things are too loud or fast, but with slow movements, and lots of ear rubs, he will quickly become your friend. While he stays with us, he will be in our free roaming room so the other kitties can help him build confidence.

Salt is available for adoption with an adoption fee of $159 plus tax, but it is reduced 25% with the Howlidays Adoption Incentive. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an application online HERE or stop by the Safe Harbor Humane Society, 7811 60th Ave, to visit him in person.
