Foodie Favorite: Taffy Apple Grapes

Addictive grapes that taste like a caramel apple

When she is not fostering dogs or honing her dance skills, Zampanti enjoys spending time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and baking delicious treats. Grace attends Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC).

Ingredients:

  • Green grapes (The bigger, the better!)
  • White chocolate chips (Preferably Ghirardelli)
  • Honey roasted peanuts (Must be honey roasted. Very important!)

Instructions:

Wash grapes and dry thoroughly with paper towel. Chop honey roasted peanuts into tiny pieces. Microwave chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for 30-second intervals (stirring in between shifts) until completely melted and smooth. Place melted chocolate and chopped nuts in two separate bowls. 

In a two-step process, immediately dip grapes halfway into chocolate and then coat chocolate with nuts. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy! Close your eyes, take a bite and you’ll think you’re eating a caramel apple. Also, you cannot eat just one. Impossible!
